With the holiday season here, hotels across the U.S. are decorating their lobbies with 10-foot nutcrackers and the most beautiful decor to get you in the holiday spirit. The best part? You can transfer your Bilt Points to Hyatt or IHG in the app and book a stay at one of these festive hotels and partake in memorable activities like champagne sabering and breakfast with Santa.

Grand Hyatt Vail, Vail, Colorado

The Grand Hyatt Vail, located at the base of Vail Mountain, is a ski-in/ski-out luxury resort where a standard room will run you about 21,000 Hyatt points. The hotel hosts its Grand Winter Moments event, from Dec. 22 through Jan. 7, where families can enjoy festive activities like building gingerbread houses, meeting with Santa, movie nights, and fireside live music.

Adults can enjoy nightly champagne sabering, free access to Top Golf Swing Suites, and an aprés moment in the luxurious Moët Yurt. The chic and cozy yurt is decked out warmly with fire pits, blankets, cocktails, charcuterie, and of course, champagne.

Spruce Peak, Stowe, Vermont

This Destination By Hyatt resort is located at the base of 2,000 acres of protected land and mountains, with rooms at The Lodge starting at 30,000 Hyatt points a night

While there are fun activities to enjoy all winter, like ice skating with a live DJ on Friday nights and sledding, the resort hosts a special event, the Spruce Peaks Light Festival, on Dec, 16th. Guests and visitors can enjoy a performance of holiday and pop music with the Ice Dance International, featuring national champion Ryan Bradley.

The night ends with Spruce Peak's annual tree-lighting ceremony, where thousands of tiny lights adorn the evergreen trees and decorate the Spruce Peaks Village Plaza and ice rink. After the lighting, guests are treated to a fireworks show at the top of Spruce Peak.

Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms, South Carolina

Although the resort is on the beach, it still celebrates the holidays -- with a Low Country twist. This family resort which is known for its resort activities and award-winning golf courses, turns up for the holidays with a full agenda of happenings. The season kicks off with an oyster roast every Thursday in November and December and a holiday pop-up at Laughing Gull. The poolside bar serves up festive cocktails until December 31st and is decked out in festive decor. There are family activities all month long, like Breakfast with Santa and holiday movie nights.

The resort, part of Destination by Hyatt, sits on 1,600 acres of oceanfront with accommodations including the Boardwalk Inn and the 153-room Sweetgrass Inn, which start at about 20,000 Hyatt points per night.

The Willard Intercontinental, Washington, D.C.

The Willard opened in 1818 and is known as the "Residence of Presidents." Within walking distance of the White House, this historic luxury hotel has hosted foreign dignitaries and celebrities, and a king classic room goes for about 66,000 IHG points per night.

In December, the hotel enchants guests with traditional holiday decorations and serves hot chocolate cocktails as well as an exclusive in-house barrel-aged bourbon Negroni in the famous Round Robin Bar. You can also celebrate in the lobby with a Chandon Champagne Cart or indulge in a holiday-themed afternoon tea located in Peacock Alley.

Kimpton Marlowe Hotel, Cambridge, Massachusetts

Not far from Boston proper, the hotel features a festive pop-up bar, Miracle at Marlowe, and offers hotel holiday packages, like an Overnight Miracle at Marlowe. This includes an overnight stay, two beverages at the Miracle pop-up, and a $50 dining credit at the hotel’s restaurant, Bambara, which is a Bilt Dining restaurant. There is limited availability for the holiday package, but standard rooms start at 22,000 IHG points per night

Miracle at Marlowe offers guests a festive place to relax with seasonal and cheerful cocktails. Drinks include the Elfing Around, made with prosecco, gin, a mulled wine reduction, grapefruit shrub, aromatic bitters, and orange bitters, as well as the Snowball Old-Fashioned with rye, gingerbread, aromatic bitters, wormwood bitters, and orange essence.
