There are three basic ways to earn points:
Paying Rent
There are two types of renters. Those who live within the Bilt Rewards Alliance and those who are out-of-network.
In-Network: Bilt Rewards Alliance
Members who live within the Bilt Rewards Alliance can immediately begin to earn points on rent by joining the loyalty program. Every month you pay rent from a linked checking account through the Bilt Rewards app you’ll earn a flat 250 points per month.
To earn one point per dollar — up to 100,000 points per year (Terms Apply) — apply for the Bilt Mastercard.
When you use your card to pay rent, if your landlord is a member of the Bilt Rewards Alliance, they will be paid electronically through the Bilt Rewards app.
Out-of-Network
If you're out-of-network, you'll need to apply for the Bilt Mastercard to pay rent. When you apply and get approved for the Bilt Mastercard, you'll earn one point per dollar on rent every month. Up to 100,000 points per year.
How to pay rent:
Use our Bilt Rent Account feature to pay your landlord. You can use it to pay in an existing portal or pay any landlord that accepts ACH payments.
OR
We will send your landlord a paper check via USPS First Class mail for your rental amount after you pay through the app. You should plan for 5-7 business days for the check to reach your landlord.
If your landlord is not a member of the Bilt Rewards Alliance, encourage them to join the program by emailing: alliance@biltrewards.com.
Accelerate Earnings with the Bilt Mastercard
Bilt Mastercard is the card for where you live, where you travel, and where you dine. Bilt Rewards members can apply for the Bilt Mastercard and open the door to earning up to 100,000 points per year on your monthly rent and unlimited points anytime you use your card anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
1X on rent payments without the transaction fees (on up to $100,000 in rent payments every year)
2X points on travel (when booked directly with an airline, hotel, car rental or cruise company)
3X points on dining
Plus
1X points on other purchases
2x points on purchases made through the Bilt Travel Portal
Cardholders must meet a minimum of 5 card transactions per statement period in order to earn points.
